     As I mentioned in my last Innika Choo post, late spring & early summer is when I start to feel a need to reinvent my style and pare down my wardrobe. I feel a need for simplicity in my clothing, of freshness. This mood board reflects my favorite bits of the season: salty ocean air, billowy fabrics to keep cool, fresh flowers, and longer days to spend reading.      I love making mood boards. I first learned the ropes from reading DesignLoveFest; my understanding is that in the dawn of blogging, she loved to pair two images together and write about them. So adorably, refreshingly simple, I fell in love with her blog right then.

     This February, I've felt the focus of my blog totally shifting. While before I was strictly interested in writing about fashion and blogging, I've been really inspired by simple living blogs lately. After a season of buying more and more stuff, it's such a breath of fresh air to step back and say "Okay, so what do I not need?".
