     I recently took a trip to one of my favorite little shops, Montrose + George General Store. I've loved visiting this boutique since it was founded a few years ago, one of the first shops to reform our historic downtown area. Now established as a local Favourite and situated in a new, larger location, this shop is an aesthetic lover's dream and the place to buy casual-chic clothing.

     Ah, dear readers, today I can't take credit for this beautiful post. As it happens, the photography I'm sharing today I found on SF Girl By Bay. After squeeing over the bright and beautiful travel photos of Victoria's trip to Palermo, Italy, I emailed her asking if she would mind me sharing them, and she graciously said she didn't mind at all. So if you missed her Italian travel photo diary, you can now see Sicily in all its splendour. You're welcome.

Victoria manages to capture such a marvelous 60's vibe with her photography style and subjects. I feel she must have travelled from destination to destination on a vintage moped wearing a silk head scarf a la Audrey Hepburn.

I adore the architecture of the airbnb Victoria stayed at above. While her trip lasted only two days, she boasts of experiencing some delightful marketplaces and delicious restaurants.

     Happy Saturday! I hope everyone's having an amazing weekend so far. This week I visited the annual tulip festival in my little British Colombian town. It was beautiful and so colorful! It was also a little windy - my hair wouldn't cooperate!

At first, I was unsure whether I should publish these photos or not. They would have turned out better if I had dressed up, but lately I've been embracing my tomboy side when getting dressed. On this day, I was comfortable in my Keds and jeans. I'm also wearing my current favorite sweater, a Brunette The Label one I picked up in a local shop. So comfy!

     Last week I had the pleasure of stopping by Little White House & Co., a lovely tea shop located downtown, for the first time.

I've walked past the little white house countless times in the past, and have always been curious about it; its pretty white french doors are always propped open, and inside I catch glimpses of smiling people dining on high tea and sandwiches. Chiffon dresses with price tags hang on mannequins in the shop windows. It has always perplexed me; is it a store, or a restaurant? Charmingly, it's both.
