My Favorite Handbag Brand & A Guide To Choosing The Right Bag For You

     I always have the hardest time finding the perfect go-everywhere handbag. To avoid having to switch them everyday (or even every week), I like my bags to check all the boxes: they need to be big enough to fit all my essentials, subtle enough to go with multiple outfits, comfortable to carry, well-made, and aesthetically pleasing. That's a lot to ask from one handbag! Luckily, I discovered my all-time favorite bag brand a few years ago, and it's been my go-to place to replace my purse ever since. Let me tell you about a brand called Matt & Nat.

     This post is a bit inspired by another blogger I love. Kate La Vie wrote a great, detailed post about nutrients and smoothies she loves, and it was such perfect timing.

I've been researching healthier food options this week. I'm in a bad place, nutritionally and physically. A self-professed french fry addict, I barely have the energy lately to climb a flight of stairs, and I'm so past blaming a pending cold for my lack of strength.

     Get ready for the second of three whimsical photo shoots, because I'm not done sharing Selkie campaigns yet! This time, beautiful muse and Selkie girl Sophia Esperanza poses against a backdrop of gorgeous pastel bouquets.

As a Vegan activist, Sophia is not afraid to stand up for what she believes. Even with a hefty 3.5 Million following, no negative trolls or conservative comments will ever get in the way of her goal: Spreading awareness about animal cruelty.

Although I'm not vegan, I'm pretty passionate about ending animal cruelty myself, so I totally agree with Sophia's message. This campaign is so feminine, floral and perfect! I love the Pillow Trousers In Coconut personally, but you can check out the rest the campaign (and shop it too) here.

     It's the first Friday of the new year! In my last 5 Things I Love post, I shared Lack Of Color's newest hat collection. I enjoyed switching things up a bit, so this week I'm combining my 5 Things I Love with a fantastic collection from a longtime favorite brand of mine.

5 Things I Love:

1. Viva Las Vegas! I adore For Love & Lemon's Winter Ready-to-Wear campaign. Clearly taking cues from Las Vegas and the 1960's, this collection is so fun and imaginative. I love when a photo shoot tells a story - this one even incorporates an Elvis impersonator and the famous Little White Chapel. I particularly love the Cosmo Mini Dress - so pink and frilly! 2. It's the time of year we're all changing our habits and considering new resolutions. A Considered Life wrote a great guide to adopting simple living resolutions. So many of the options are easy, and things you may not have thought of!

3. Not Jess Fashion took a magical Christmas trip to Colmar, France, and it is so colorful! See her travel guide here.

4. DesignLoveFest has rounded up 10 healthy Recipes and they look delicious! I'd love to make the chicken salad.

5. Urban Outfitters have released their Spring preview, and I adore the Inka Pleated Mini Skirt and matching Button-Front Blazer. Cher Horowitz would approve!
